We had a wonderful experience getting our floors replaced through La Mesa flooring from start to finish. Mark inspired us during our walk through, and helped us find the floor that matched our vision for our long-term home. Mark also prepared us for each step and communicated with us clearly throughout the process, which we greatly appreciated since it was our first exposure to a project of this size. Once we moved forward, we worked with Sam in the installation department who was also clear on timelines and expectations. Diedre, Mark, and her team shared timely updates and kept us informed. We were out of the house for most of the install, but our installer Ricardo was great, and worked quickly and efficiently. The finished product with the baseboards and quality of the flooring exceeded our expectations. I would recommend La Mesa Flooring Company. They done very good installation on my upper level Hallway, Library/TV and Stairs with white oak (3/4" X 2-1/4") unfinished wood flooring, They also warrantee and stand by their material and workmanship. I ordered Somerset prefinished hardwood. After installation of 16 pieces of wood, I notice a manufactured defect on the ends. They inspected the defect and authorized a full refund. Which was applied to the unfinished white oak.

We had La Mesa flooring come out to give us a quote for a single bedroom in our home and do some repair. Another vendor said we would need to refinish the entire house to match the patched area. The bedroom and patched area turned out beautiful. Price quoted was the price we paid and we could not be happier with the results. July 22, 2022 We have just completed our second project with La Mesa Flooring. The first project was the installation of new carpeting for our family room, and it turned out beautifully. This project was the installation of a new luxury vinyl tile custom kitchen floor. Ivan, the lead installer did a meticulous job executing the installation. His work was done very professionally, and we are pleased with our new floor. Ivan and his helper, Luis, worked hard all day and completed the work in a timely manner and did the proper clean-up before they left. We appreciate that La Mesa Flooring is a long-time local business and still cares about customer service and delivering a good product. They were wonderful to work with. Sam Mellor, in the Installation Department, went above and beyond to see that the project was on track and that all the details were being addressed. She kept me up to date and informed every step of the way. Her organization and communication skills made the project go smoothly. Deidre Eues was also very helpful throughout our projects. She was always pleasant to talk with on the phone and quickly took care of any questions or concerns. Thank you, La Mesa Flooring, for your standard of quality and professionalism. The building was built in 1974 so they’re were some issues with the subfloor because of the age of the building but they came up with a fast solution. The showroom was easy to get to right off of one of the main streets of La Mesa. Lots of flooring to choose from for all budget types, and I am happy that I could take some samples home with me to see how the lighting of my home affects how the flooring would look. Mark was very helpful in helping me design the look of my living room remodel and helping me pick out the perfect style of flooring I would want based on the needs of my home. Insulation was quoted at 2 to 3 days, day one was removing the old carpet and making sure the floor was even and day two was install. The third day was needed just to wrap up the final pieces of the install including transition pieces from the tiling to the new wood floor. Any concerns and questions I had were quickly addressed and answered by both Mark and Deidre, which I am pleased about. Affordable, excellent communication, and I am very happy with the end result of my new living room flooring. 100% recommend.

We received estimates for our whole home flooring project from 3 companies and La Mesa Flooring was our first choice. Pricing was reasonable and competitive. This was because of the product knowledge and recommendations made by their designer (Mark). The total workmanship exceeded our expectations (Eric and Ivan). The workers were always on time and completed the project by the agreed upon time. They kept us informed as to the process along the way. The carpeting manufacturer originally sent the incorrect carpet style (carpet roll was mislabeled in the factory). La Mesa Flooring resolved the problem quickly by working with the manufacturer area rep, having the correct carpet expedited from the east coast. During this process, we were able to continue to live in our home as they completed the LVP in our living spaces and carpeting in the bedrooms. Communication with the staff was superior - responding to emails and phone calls quickly. It feels as if we have moved into a new home!

What is great about this company is CHOICE. I had visited Lowes and a few other flooring companies, and just no real choices besides wood and porcelein tile. I have a house that is on stilts, and needed some flexible flooring. La Mesa Flooring explored different options for me with linoleum and vinyl tiles. I do love my kitchen floors. So, let me begin by saying we saved every penny we had for a few years inorder to redo our floors. When the time came we did a ton of online reaserch for a reputable company to do the work. After a couple weeks of searching, we felt comfortable going with La Mesa Flooring. The process was smooth, and stress free. No one rushes you, they take their time to answer all questions you have accuaretly and with patience. The entire process was explained to us before any work was started so there were no surprises or "hidden fees." Would I do business again with La Mesa Flooring Company? It would be a definite yes for me. The first time I went to the shop, I met Ralph, who was pleasant to speak to and showed me the styles and features of several flooring options. He was professional and didn't try to upsell me. I ended up taking a handful of samples home to see if they match my home. Next time I brought the samples back and met Eric. They answered questions I had about installation and scheduling, and I felt in good hands enough to make a deposit and sign the contract. Peggy came out to my home to take measurements and notes on how I'd like to install the laminates. She told me ahead that leveling may be required before installation can take place so that I was aware. What impressed me most was the proactive and constant communication from Eric while we waited about a month before the installation can start due to the windows and door getting installed before that. Eric's communication was very warm, real, respectful, and professional. This was the number one factor that would make me do business again. Once the installation started, it took two days due to the leveling that was required. Peggy and Eric were upfront about the cost of doing this and they explained to satisfaction when I had questions about the extra billable hours for leveling. I was happy with the outcome. It looked great and did not dip or squeak, and I got to keep some planks for backup. Thank you Ralph and Eric and Peggy for a great business experience.
